Thank you for the tutorial but you didnt say when to add the other ingredients. Can you please explain to me when to add the other ingredients.

Our apologies.
A part of the video seems to be cut. We will check on it. Thank you for bringing it to our notice.
Here are the steps for the recipe.
1. Add Agar agar powder/ gelatin to water and let stand for 1 minute.
2. Stir over simmering heat until dissolved and the paste thickens
3. Add corn syrup and shortening and stir till dissolved.
4. Strain this mixture and let cool a little.
5. Attach mixer bowl to mixer platform. Add the icing sugar and tylose powder.
6. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix to combine. At first the mixture will be very soft, beat on medium speed about 5 minutes. The mixture will stiffen up. A plastic scrapper helps remove the sticky, gooey mixture.
7. Place in a greased airtight covered container.

Hi mam what is the measurement of 1cup mam?
I usually use 1 cup = 240 ml measure.
Depending on what you are measuring, the amount will differ based on the weight.
I have 200 n 250 ml cup. Which should I use.. Or if you give measurements in gms.
Please use the 250 ml cup
Can we use butter instead of shorting
I wouldnt recommend it since butter has a moisture content. Incase you do not get shortening, you can use little margarine
